A Japanese IT company is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join their team supporting system investment projects for a major financial institution.
In this role, you will be part of the IT planning division, reviewing project deliverables, overseeing investment budgets, and acting as a vital link with the Japan HQ.
Applicants holding a YMS or Graduate Visa with more than one year remaining can also apply depending on experience.

Type: Contract (Rolling contract of 6-12 months. Minimum of 1 year)
Salary: £30,000-£45,000, depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00
Start Date: From August 2025
Location: Central London (on-site)
Main Responsibilities:
Review and assess deliverables for system investment projects (requirements definitions, design documents)
Evaluate the validity and appropriateness of project plans and budgets
Conduct and manage investment ethics reviews
Monitor and report on the progress of investment budgets
Provide support for project initiation and review related documents
Coordinate and report to the Japan HQ
Propose improvements to workflows and processes through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate:
2–3 years of experience in IT-related roles
Experience reviewing documentation in system development phases
Solid IT literacy with the ability to understand and review technical documents
Flexible and proactive in driving process improvements and organisational change
Business-level English and Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, and communication)
Strong interest in governance, audits, or budget management with high attention to detail
Self-motivated and collaborative team player
