A manufacturer specialising in industrial motors and motion control products is currently seeking an Industrial Motor Sales Engineer to join its UK team in the Birmingham / Solihull area. The role will initially focus on internal sales and customer support, with the expectation that the successful candidate will gradually move into external sales. This position would suit someone with a mechanical or electrical background who is interested in technical sales, customer support, and industrial products.

Main Responsibilities:
- Handle enquiries from existing customers
- Provide product information and technical support to customers
- Support product selection for industrial motors and motion control products
- Propose new products to existing customers
- Build and maintain relationships with local UK customers
- Visit customers across the UK
- Understand customer applications and suggest suitable product solutions
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Leader
- Support the growth of the UK customer base
- Develop from an internal sales role into a more customer-facing external sales role
Ideal Candidate:
- Required Mechanical or electrical background
- Business-level English communication skills
- Interest in technical sales and industrial products
- Comfortable with both internal sales and customer visits
- Willing to travel across the UK around 2–3 days per week
- Cooperative and able to work well with others
- Stable and long-term career mindset

- Experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, or similar
