A Japanese entertainment related company is seeking a Sales Coordinator who speaks German, English, and Japanese fluently. You will support the Sales Manager who is in charge of the German market to start with, and will be responsible for the market together in the future.
Working hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30-17:30 (this position will be required to work in the office 5 days/week)
Principal Duties:
- Sales calls to Retailers, Distributors in the E.U and others.
- Marketing activities - conducts sales analysis, ad planning, sales forecasting.
- Acquires licensing agreements (Sales activities to hardware and software makers).
- Translates product information, instructions, their website, and other business-related documents to and from Japanese/English/German.
- Performs interpretation as needed.
- In charge of drawing up, negotiating, and signing business-related contracts.
- Researches patent-related information within the game industry.
- Manages bank accounts and petty cash.
- Attends to resident officers, loan employees, and expatriate personnel.
- Manages day-to-day activities with little to no managerial supervision.
- Performs other sales-related duties for worldwide markets and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
- Troubleshoots problems, answers questions from sellers, and handles complaints.
Desirable skills:
- At least 1 year experience of office work, ideally sales related.
- Totally fluent level German, Fluent English, and Japanese (Ideally JLPT N2 or higher).
- Experience working/living in Japan is highly beneficial.
- Interest in digital/gaming/entertainment industries could be an advantage.
- Understanding of Japanese culture, especially corporate environments.
- Strong communication skills, flexible attitude.
