A foreign bank is currently recruiting a Credit Analyst to work in their London office. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting credit reviews for corporate finance business and working closely with Relationship Managers, performing credit analysis on corporate finance proposals and existing loans, and handling KYC customer due diligence.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, the ability to present information clearly, and effective teamwork capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Relationship Manager to conduct credit reviews for corporate finance business.
- Perform credit analysis on new corporate finance proposals and existing loans.
- Assess macroeconomic, industry, and regulatory factors related to transactions.
- Conduct KYC customer due diligence for new client onboarding.
- Produce review reports for Credit Committee meetings.
- Analyse creditworthiness of existing corporate finance and produce internal credit rating review reports.
- Conduct research and produce reports on credit issues related to the Branch's credit portfolio.
- Make remediation of identified gaps in customer due diligence.
- Assist team members in basic activities as required.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in conducting credit analysis of corporations, either as a front officer or middle officer in a bank or rating agency.
- At least 3 years of experience as a credit analyst in corporate banking.
- Ability to analyse information and draw conclusions from data.
- Ability to present conclusions in written reports.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in corporate banking or working with diverse sectors.
- Flexibility to modify communication style based on recipient.
- Business level fluency in English.
