An established firm specialising in Japanese equity research is seeking an experienced Equity Researcher/Editor to join the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity research, excellent writing and editing skills in both Japanese and English, and a sharp eye for clarity, consistency, and accuracy. The role will be decided through the interview stage, based on your experience and expectation. Flexible working arrangements are available depending on experience.

Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: Neg

Working Hours: 07.00-16.30 from Monday to Friday

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Burton-on-Trent, near Derby (Onsite) or Flexible/Remote depending on experience

Equity Researcher/Editor Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct equity research on Japanese equities
  • Edit equity research reports for clarity, accuracy and consistency
  • Format, prepare and finalise reports for publication
  • Work closely with research analysts to ensure clear communication of technical content
  • Maintain appropriate tone, style and structure across all documents
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet publishing deadlines

Equity Researcher/Editor Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in equity research or related financial editing, research experience
  • Excellent grammar, writing and editorial skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to enhance clarity and coherence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical financial content and improve readability
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong team collaboration skills
