LOCATION: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)
Main Responsibilities
•Conduct independent credit reviews for new and existing structured finance transactions
• Analyse creditworthiness of renewable energy project finance deals, including offshore wind and carbon capture projects
• Review branch credit portfolio and produce regular portfolio review reports
• Research macro-economic, industry, and regulatory trends relevant to the credit portfolio
• Prepare credit review reports and present findings to Credit Committee and branch management
• Liaise with Front Office teams and Head Office credit officers to support smooth credit review processes
• Support maintenance and updates of credit policies, procedures, and internal risk frameworks
Skills & Qualifications
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years\’ experience in structured finance credit analysis
• Experience analysing UK/European renewable energy project finance, particularly offshore wind and carbon capture
• Experience gained at a UK, Japanese, or other international financial institution
• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate complex credit risks clearly in written and verbal English
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to remain objective and independent as a second-line reviewer
