A financial institute is currently looking for a Finance Manager in London. In this role, you will be responsible for finance accounting and management, including monthly management accounts, compliance with financial regulations, and collaboration with external auditors.
The ideal candidate should have more than 5 years of working experience in financial management. Japanese language skill is essential.
Employment Details- Type: Permanent, full-time
- Working Hours: 9:00-17:00, Monday to Friday

- Monthly management accounts
- FCA returns quarterly and ICARA document annually
- Compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards and company policies
- Budgets and financial forecasts
- Collaboration with external auditors
- Accounting reporting to the Tokyo headquarters
- Assist the Managing Director in ensuring the smooth running of the business
- Maintaining/updating accounting records
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Checking accounts payable invoices/expenses claims for payment approval
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable/payable with third parties
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable/payable with fellow group companies
- Calculation of monthly PAYE for Japanese delegates and compliance filings
- Preparing monthly management accounts and preparation of reporting files for the Tokyo headquarters
- Preparing VAT returns
- Understanding the FCA prudential rules and completion of FCA returns
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards and company policies
- Calculation of corporate tax and quarterly instalment payments
- Preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Providing accounting and financial reports and documents needed for external auditors
- Collaboration with other staff in transfer pricing report update
- More than 5 years of working experience in financial management within an investment management company preferred
- Ability to perform the role in Japanese and English, including accounting, reporting, and communication with the Tokyo headquarters
- Professional qualification in accounting or finance
- Proven expertise in financial management and reporting
- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with financial systems and controls
- Enthusiastic and diligent personality to work in a small team
