A Japanese IT company is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join their team supporting system investment projects for a major financial institution.
In this role, you will be part of the IT planning division, reviewing project deliverables, overseeing investment budgets, and acting as a vital link with the Japan HQ.
Applicants holding a YMS or Graduate Visa with more than one year remaining can also apply depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities:
- Review and assess deliverables for system investment projects (requirements definitions, design documents)
- Evaluate the validity and appropriateness of project plans and budgets
- Conduct and manage investment ethics reviews
- Monitor and report on the progress of investment budgets
- Provide support for project initiation and review related documents
- Coordinate and report to the Japan HQ
- Propose improvements to workflows and processes through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- 2-3 years of experience in IT-related roles
- Experience reviewing documentation in system development phases
- Solid IT literacy with the ability to understand and review technical documents
- Flexible and proactive in driving process improvements and organisational change
- Business-level English and Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, and communication)
- Strong interest in governance, audits, or budget management with high attention to detail
- Self-motivated and collaborative team player
