Responsibilities:
- Building and managing relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Initial point of contact for customer inquiries.
- Understanding and grasping product line-up and service content.
- Advising customers on building manufacturing processes.
- Supervising machine and equipment commissioning at customer sites.
- Troubleshooting technical issues at customer sites.
- Collaboration with overseas technical experts.
- Regular visits to customer and supplier locations (1-2 trips per month, mainly within the UK and EU).
Qualifications:
- Practical experience in technical fields or manufacturing environments.
- Driving licence in the UK.
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese.
- Skills in Microsoft Office / AutoCAD.
- High IT literacy, excellent organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Engineering degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, manufacturing process engineering, or automation technology is preferred.
- Corporate sales experience is essential (experience in trading companies is advantageous).
- Ability to drive tasks independently and complete them autonomously.
- Problem-solving skills and communication skills.
- Experience with other 2D/3D CAD tools or PLC programming skills is welcomed.
