About The Role

The Grant Administrator will provide financial support in the form of vouchers for eligible households via telephone and email, using administrative skills to enter customer details onto databases and process applications. A willingness to undertake routine administrative tasks with accuracy and reliability is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Enter text-based and numerical information into Excel sheets and Centre for Sustainable Energy\'s (CSE) customer database.
  • Communicate with people, some of whom may be vulnerable, verbally and in writing.
  • Update day-to-day records in systems such as timesheets and client databases.
  • Listen attentively to callers (some may be distressed) and respond empathetically.
  • Review eligibility documents submitted by households to determine funding eligibility.
  • Adhere to CSE\'s protocols, processes, and procedures.
  • Undertake any other tasks related to this role as agreed.

Essential Attributes

  • Minimum Maths/English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Experience entering data into spreadsheets and databases.
  • Strong administrative skills with accuracy and reliability.

Pay and Conditions

  • Full-time role (37.5 hours per week) but applications from a minimum of 15 hours per week will be considered.
  • Salary: £25,938 per year (pro rata for part-time).
  • 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).
