This is an exciting opportunity to join our UK Recruitment Team. The UK Recruitment Coordinator (FABSS) is a key role within our UK Recruitment and Partnerships Department. You will lead delivery of key projects and activities of the recruitment operational action plan, feeding into our overarching University UK recruitment strategy, with responsibility for delivery at faculty and course level.

You will be a lead contact for the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Science for recruitment across the prospect journey, managing the Recruitment Assistants and liaising with the Conversion team to deliver key activities for the faculty. You will develop overarching faculty and course level recruitment action plans covering the full prospect journey from awareness to enrolment and manage operational delivery of activities in the awareness to application stages, working with the Conversion team on application to enrolment stages. You will liaise closely with faculty recruitment staff to develop subject level expertise to service their faculty. In a fast-paced environment you will bring a proactive and innovative approach to recruitment delivery at the University.

You will deliver recruitment activities on and off campus, including attendance at HE fairs and national exhibitions, and work closely with schools and colleges. This may involve travel within the West Midlands region and, occasionally, across the UK. You may be away from home on University business several times each year and may work during evenings and weekends.

You should have experience delivering promotional activity (including targeting and KPI monitoring), preferably within a classroom/training environment, and using a CRM system with strong data input and accuracy. You will be able to write reports including data analysis. You will understand the higher education student recruitment lifecycle for both post-18 and non-traditional learners and have experience planning and delivering promotional activity to support recruitment. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build effective relationships, and act as an ambassador for the university. You will also have experience supervising staff, including student ambassadors.

Responsibilities
  • Lead development and delivery of faculty and course level recruitment action plans across the prospect journey.
  • Manage operational delivery of activities from awareness to application, coordinating with the Conversion team for application to enrolment.
  • Act as the lead contact for the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Science for recruitment across the prospect journey; manage Recruitment Assistants and liaise with faculty staff.
  • Deliver recruitment activities on and off campus, including attendance at higher education fairs and exhibitions; travel within the region and occasionally across the UK.
  • Write reports and analyze data to monitor KPIs and inform strategy.
  • Supervise staff including student ambassadors and build subject-level expertise within faculties.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience delivering promotional activity with KPI monitoring, preferably in a classroom/training environment.
  • Experience using a CRM system with strong data input and accuracy.
  • Ability to write data-driven reports and analyze recruitment metrics.
  • Understanding of the HE student recruitment lifecycle for post-18 and non-traditional learners.
  • Experience planning and delivering promotional activity to support recruitment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and act as a university ambassador.
  • Experience supervising staff, including student ambassadors.
