We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative candidate to join us as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. You will join an enthusiastic team committed to delivering teaching, research and academic enterprise that supports the School of Business and Law, Faculty and University’s strategic ambitions. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Accounting and Finance.
  • Develop and maintain a teaching portfolio, contribute to curriculum design, assessment and student support.
  • Engage in academic enterprise and research activities that contribute to the School of Business and Law.
  • Promote an inclusive, challenging and collaborative learning environment in line with the University’s core values.
  • Collaborate with professional bodies and industry partners, and may travel internationally as required.

Qualifications

  • First degree (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Professional membership such as ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW.
  • Experience of teaching in higher education or the private sector, demonstrating excellence and commitment to teaching in Accounting and Finance.
  • Evidence of strong academic and research credentials in the discipline is desirable.
