As a Personal Assistant, your primary responsibility is to provide assistance and support to an individual who requires help due to their medical condition. You will play a crucial role in empowering the individual to live independently and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with household tasks and duties
- Prompt, assist and supervise with meal preparation and during meal times
- Offer emotional support and companionship to the individual
- Monitor the individuals\β health status and report any changes or concerns to the employer
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individual by identifying and addressing potential hazards or risks in the environment
Skills and Qualifications
- Able to demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach towards individuals facing challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable in manner
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule
- Relevant experience or qualifications in healthcare, social work, or a related field may be beneficial
Further Information
Work Time: Hours flexible and to be discussed with Employer pending interview β availability required Monday β Friday, with occasional weekendsAccess to own vehicle preferable, but not necessary.
