We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our management team! You will be a Deputy Manager for a PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) day service currently with 15 adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities and additional behavioural, mental health, physical, and communication support needs. The service is overseen by a Project Manager.

Working alongside the Project Manager and a team of support staff, you will provide excellent person-centred care to ensure the service user wellbeing, participation, and independence. This will involve supporting service users to take part in a range of meaningful and fun one on one and group activities, develop friendships, access the community, and develop daily living skills. This will include working in partnership with family and advocates, where possible and appropriate.

The role will be divided into two days of administrative duties and three days of direct support while still maintaining a supervisory role, leading and coaching the team. You will contribute to the development of the team and be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of Support Workers.

You will also support the team with the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and support to service users. The right candidate will have experience with Positive Behaviour Support and supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable client group.

In return, we offer a supportive environment in which people are encouraged to develop their skills, as part of a well-established and experienced team of managers. Centre 404 is dedicated to staff development and supervision and we will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support. We are also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk and we are looking to recruit people who share these values.

All offers of employment are subject to an enhanced DBS check, proof of eligibility to work in the UK and two satisfactory references. Please note, we do not offer sponsorship.
