Based in Peterborough / Huntingdon, this role is for 21 hours per week with a salary of £27,000 to £30,000 per annum (pro rata). We are a leading local charity offering free and confidential information, support and counselling for young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Centre 33 is looking to recruit a Young Carers Project Worker, with extensive experience working with young people, to support the delivery of Centre 33’s Young Carer service in Cambridgeshire. You will be part of the Young Carers Project at Centre 33, providing a variety of support to young carers.
Your role will involve:
- Assessment of young people
- Face to face support
- Group work in line with the strategic development of the service
This post is a critical part of the Young Carers’ service and involves working and engaging with young people in a variety of settings. You will be working across various locations in Peterborough / Huntingdon, with occasional travel to other areas within Cambridgeshire.
A full UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this post. This post is subject to a DBS check and references.
