Join our Microsoft Cloud team within Managed Services as a Technical Services Owner, where you will take end-to-end responsibility for delivering secure, scalable Microsoft Cloud services while guiding and supporting a team of skilled engineers. In the role, you will stay hands-on in the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Cloud services, acting as the central point of accountability for your services. You will define technical direction, drive continuous improvement, and ensure operational excellence. At the same time, you will evaluate priorities through a business lens, balancing cost, risk, and value while identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings and support organizational strategy.

In this role, you will work closely with customers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable and robust cloud services. You will proactively manage service performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.

Your role & influence as Technical Service Owner:

Responsibility:

You hold end-to-end ownership of Digital Workplace Services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with both customer needs and business objectives. You are accountable for service quality, performance, and continuous improvement across the full lifecycle, balancing technical excellence with cost, risk, and value. You also lead and support a team of engineers, driving high standards, fostering growth, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery.

Collaboration:

You act as a key bridge between engineering teams, customers, architects, and business stakeholders. By building strong relationships and maintaining open communication, you translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, align priorities, and ensure shared ownership of outcomes. You create a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, innovation, and customer focus are central to how the team works.

Core Activities:
  • Own and manage the full lifecycle of Digital Workplace Services, from design and implementation to operation and continuous improvement.
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for your services, aligning with business strategy and customer needs.
  • Ensure service reliability, performance, security, and compliance through proactive monitoring and optimization.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
  • Balance cost, risk, and performance considerations to support informed decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, influencing service development, priorities, and long-term direction.

This Is What We Imagine You Bring:

  • 8–10 years of experience in senior engineering and technical leadership roles, combined with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent structured academic foundation.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, identity management, and the Microsoft Defender suite, with both operational and architectural experience.
  • Holds at least two Microsoft certifications: one in Workplace and one in Security.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop teams, establish clear ways of working, and foster a strong culture of best practices and collaboration.
  • Full proficiency in English and the local language (Swedish/Norwegian) is required.
