We are currently recruiting a Junior Accountant / Trainee for our Belfast office.
Within a team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Assisting with a portfolio of clients, supporting the production of monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Regular communication with clients to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely including responses to client queries.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly client management accounts.
- Preparation of required tax returns for filing with HMRC including VAT, corporation tax, partnership tax, P11ds and PSAs.
- Preparation of FCA returns utilising data from the client’s management accounts on a half yearly/quarterly basis.
- Preparation of annual financial statements.
- Liaison with client and their auditors to ensure timely filing of their audited financial statements.
- Coordination with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client deliverables.
- Any ad-hoc items required by the team.
Willing to start a qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent. Strong knowledge of Excel. Strong sense of ownership and detail-oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid work permit for the UK.
