You will have excellent communication skills, rapport-building ability, and be capable of managing conflict with empathy. Highly organized, with good planning and time-management skills, supported by IT proficiency, especially with online communication tools. YMCA Fit delivers a wide range of fitness qualifications, and we are particularly interested in hearing from Tutors and Assessors qualified in Gym and Personal Training, capable of delivering: Level 2 Gym Instructor Level 3 Personal Training Level 3 Diploma in Yoga Level 3 Older Adult / Perinatal Level 4 Sports Massage Level 4 Nutrition You will also need: At least 2 years’ experience in the fitness industry Flexibility to travel across regions to attend our centres across the UK Teaching Qualification (PGCE/Cert in Education / L5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent) Assessing qualification (L3 Assessing Vocational Related Achievement or equivalent) Level 4 Internal Verifier qualification (V1 or equivalent) – desirable About the Role The YMCAfit Tutor/Assessor/IQA will deliver, assess, and quality assure engaging programs that motivate learners to progress and succeed. They will manage diverse learning opportunities from onboarding through to certification, teaching across various formats including remote, blended, and face-to-face, with travel to locations like London, Manchester, Bristol, Leicester, and Brighton as needed.
