This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chesterfield for a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will oversee the preparation and analysis of management information, monitor and manage budgets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include managing accruals, assisting in financial planning, conducting in-depth analysis to support decision-making, and providing insights to improve operational efficiency. Collaboration with other departments to enhance financial processes and contribute to overall business success is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in preparing Management Information
- Strong knowledge and experience in Finance and Accounting principles
- Well-developed Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills
- Part-qualified through a chartered body or qualified by experience
- Experience on a mid-market accounting package, such as Sage Intacct
- Prior experience in IT or technology-related industries is advantageous
