Bookkeeper opportunity to join an established chartered accountants based near Beverley.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is essential for the smooth operation of the firms financial processes and will contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

About the role:
* Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
* Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
* Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.
* Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
* Monitor cash flow and provide insights on financial performance to management.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal policies.
* Prepare VAT Returns.
* Assist on Personal Tax Returns.
Hours and Pay:
* Full-time – Monday to Friday
* Salary around £35,000 – dependent on experience
* Permanent position from day one
