Central Scotland Trailer Rental Ltd. specializes in providing dependable HGV trailer rentals for both short-term and long-term needs. Our fleet includes refrigerated, curtainside, and skeletal trailers, ensuring versatile solutions for our clients. All our trailers are serviced and maintained by our in-house team of skilled mechanics. We aim to deliver excellent service and well-maintained equipment to keep businesses running smoothly.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Trailer Mechanic, based in Newmains, with some flexibility for remote work. Normal working hours are 08.30 to 17.00 Mon/Frid, overtime is available Sat 1.5 rate and Sunday double time.

The role involves carrying out maintenance, repairs, and routine preventative maintenance on a variety of trailers, including refrigerated, curtainside, and skeletal trailers. The Trailer Mechanic will inspect and troubleshoot issues, perform timely repairs, and ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards. The role also requires maintaining accurate records of work performed and collaborating with the team to uphold high service quality.
