The Fundraising Manager (Philanthropy) position is an exciting and transformative new role within the high-performing Fundraising Team at the Royal Central School of Speech andDrama.
Starting in the organisation’s 120 th anniversary year, this post will help realise ambitious fundraising targets to achieve key objectives of the External Engagement Strategic plan 2025 – 2027. This looks to support the future of Royal Central and its Strategy 2025-2030, which outlines three corethemes:
Theme 1 – Enhancing Education, Research & Partnerships - Enhancing the quality of education, fostering impactful research, and strengtheningpartnerships.
Theme 2 – Fit-for-Purpose Facilities & Infrastructure - Ensuring that both the digital and physical facilities are fit for purpose and support the effective delivery of ourobjectives.
Theme 3 – Financial Resilience - Continue to maintain a resilient and sustainable financial position, enablinginvestment.
This rewarding role will be focused at increasing donated income through the renewal, identification, cultivation and stewardship of five-figure and six-figure donations in support of its students, estate, and furtherbeneficiaries.
The postholder will be responsible for cultivating their own prospect pipeline of major donors and making high-value asks against key organisation propositions in line with legal and ethical requirements. They will focus on securing multi-year pledges and forming long-term relationships within its Support Circle recognitionframework.
The Fundraising Manager (Philanthropy) will work with colleagues, senior representatives and alumni to develop compelling cases for support and applications aligned with Royal Central’s Strategy 2025-2030. The role requires excellent stewardship oversight, including timely fulfilment of grant obligations, high-quality impact reporting and recognitionopportunities.
