A fantastic opportunity for an experienced sheet metal worker has become available to take on a permanent role. Our client has over 20 yearsβ experience in the manufacturing of the highest quality stainless steel equipment.

As a Sheet Metal Worker your role will include:
MAIN TASKS
* An ability to accurately read Cad drawings and follow them, ensuring all work is efficient, precise and accurate.
* Experience of sheet metal working hand tools and equipment i.e. Guillotine, CNC brake press.
* The ability to do spot-welding, grinding and finishing to a very high standard.
* Welding canopies and parts and any other assemblies requiring this process to a high standard to minimise the polishing process
* Preparation of welded parts (Sanding) in readiness for polishing process
* All aspects of assembling sub-assemblies using pre folded panels
* Feedback any anomalies to Manufacture Supervisor (inaccuracies of drawings, quantities etc)
* Self-discipline including dress code, time keeping and all company directives
* Tidiness of the production area
* Maintenance of machinery and allocated hand tools
* Good house keeping
* Experience operating a press brake is an advantage
The normal hours of work are from 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid break for lunch, and a morning and afternoon break as agreed from time to time. 40 hours per week will be the normal hours of work unless otherwise agreed between you and the Company. xiskglj
Salary: From Β£15.00 to Β£17 prhr dependant on experience.
