We are recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established company in Blackburn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to support warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to move stock and materials
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
- Transport goods within the warehouse or production area
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements
- Follow all health & safety procedures and site regulations
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues
Requirements
- Proven experience in operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics setting
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and equipment repair skills
- Strong awareness of health & safety in a warehouse setting
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed
- Reliable and punctual
Hours
Monday-Friday rotating shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
Pay
£13.12 per hour (increasing to £13.79)
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks
