Press Brake / Or Improver willing to learn but must have some experience
Duties
- Daily start up and shut down of the machine
- Working with sheet metal, dealing with a variety of products and materials
- To produce fault free products
Maintaining a tidy and organised department.
Work in accordance with company processes and procedures.
To check job paperwork and liaise with the Drawing department for tooling/program issues
Meeting production demands and targets.
Skills
- Set/ Op CNC Press Brake
- Excellent interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy is paramount.
Excellent numeracy skills
Ability to communicate at all levels either face to face or in writing.
- Working knowledge of CNC machinery
- Excellent work planning and organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
Hours of work are from 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thurs, Fri 8am-3pm ( 39 hour week) pm with a 30 minute unpaid break for lunch
