My client, a well-established fulfilment company based in Blackburn, is seeking a number of Order Pickers to join their warehouse team in selecting and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidates will have experience in warehouse operations and be able to handle physical work in a fast-paced environment. This role is working on a rotating shift pattern 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm. The position is temporary and shifts are confirmed on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Lifting up to 10-12 KG
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Perform quality control checks on outgoing orders
- Pack goods to order
- Manage inventory using the warehouse management system
- Organise stock within the warehouse
- Work within a team to manage deliveries
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes
Experience:
The successful candidate should ideally possess the following skills:
- Prior experience in picking, packing, and warehouse operations
- Familiarity with quality control procedures
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Strong understanding of warehouse, stock, and inventory management practices
Weekly pay, on-site parking, and accessible on public transport.
