Central Recruitment is currently recruiting Support Workers in the Wandsworth and Twickenham areas to provide high-quality care and support for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Communications Needs and Mobility Needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in people’s lives by promoting independence, dignity, wellbeing, and inclusion in a person-centred environment. We have work available across a variety of shift patterns, including early, late, waking nights and sleep-ins. Standard shifts are paid at £16.59 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) and sleep-in rates range from £30–£67 per shift, depending on the service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, including:

  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Administering medication
  • Attending health appointments
  • Community access and outings
  • Budgeting and daily living support
  • Laundry and household tasks
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment

FURTHER REQUIREMENTS: In order to register with Central Recruitment Services for temporary agency work, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Current valid right to work in the UK
  • Minimum 12 months’ of paid experience in a frontline social care role within the last 3 years (unless recruitment criteria states otherwise)
  • A fully enhanced DBS registered on the DBS update service or willingness to apply for one through Central (at a cost of £60)
  • Employment or education history to cover the last 5 years which can be verified through the referencing process
