Central Recruitment is working with a prominent national homelessness charity, whose work includes supporting and accommodating young people. Our client is currently recruiting for two Progression Coaches (Waking Nights) to work in the Durham area at a service that provides supported accommodation for young people (aged 18+) to help them move on to their own independent accommodation.
37.5 hours per week (average) across Monday - Sunday on a two-week rolling rota of waking night shifts. Shift: 21:30 - 08:00. Temporary: approx. 3 months. £15.20 per hour (£13.56 per hour with £1.64 holiday pay).

Key responsibilities:- Conduct welfare checks on all clients
- Ensure client safety and wellbeing, following safeguarding and emergency procedures
- Provide flexible, person-centred support and encourage client involvement in activities and decisions
- Work with external agencies while following data protection and information sharing procedures
- Carry out cleaning duties
- Cover reception, including answering phone calls
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment and support new client move-ins
- Maintain clear, accurate records
- Manage the security of the building
