Central Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to provide flexible agency cover across a range of supported accommodation and homelessness services for young people throughout the North East. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people facing a range of challenges, including homelessness, mental health needs, substance misuse, and other complex support needs. You'll play a vital role in helping individuals build confidence, develop independence, and work towards positive outcomes. We have a variety of shifts available to suit different schedules, including early, late, waking night, and sleep-in shifts, offering flexibility around your existing commitments. The pay rate for this role is £15.08 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Providing high-quality, person-centred support to young people * Promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive life choices * Supporting individuals within a strengths-based and recovery-focused framework * Maintaining a safe and supportive environment * Safeguarding vulnerable young people and responding appropriately to concerns * Completing accurate records and handovers To apply for this role, you’ll need experience supporting young people with multiple disadvantages (this can either be paid or voluntary experience, or experience gained via a university placement).
