The Operations Support Manager will play a central role in supporting the delivery of parking operations across Barnet. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that focuses on driving operational excellence, improving performance, and helping frontline teams succeed in creating safer, better-managed neighbourhoods.

As the Operations Support Manager, you will be a key link between on-street operations, office functions, and contract management. You will support the smooth running of enforcement, notice processing, compliance, and performance reporting, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and compliance. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the Assistant Contract Manager to deliver a high-quality, compliant service
  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of Supervisors
  • Deputising for the Assistant Contract Manager when required
  • Ensuring KPIs, service levels and quality standards are consistently achieved
  • Managing staff performance, absence and employee relations
  • Monitoring budgets and controlling operational costs
  • Working closely with residents, local businesses, councillors and the Metropolitan Police
  • Helping create safer neighbourhoods and thriving local business districts
