We are looking for an experienced and talented Social Media Manager to be part of the in-house marketing team, you will be responsible for the overall management of all Edinbugh Scotsman Hospitality venue’s social media channels.

The Role
- Working towards agreed KPIs set by the business including growing followers, increasing interactions, and improving pre-booked sales and revenue
- You will work with the Operations team in venue as well as the in house photographer and videographer to ensure our content is of the highest standard, working continuously on delivering strategy which grows our social media reach and delivers maximum impact.
- Developing and implementing a social media plan for venues where specific targets or objectives are required, to ensure posts are visually appealing, professional, and showcase the USPs of the venue. This will include working with the inhouse design team to create templated artwork which you will then update and refresh as required
- To develop and implement and ongoing schedule of photography and videography using the in-house resource available, writing briefs and attending shoot days to ensure content is of the highest quality
- Continue and build on the roll out of Tiktok across the business to date, ensuring it is in place for all relevant sites and that content is monitored and training and support is given
- Contribute with fresh ideas and additions to existing nights, Instagram moments, customer experience to ensure we have a constant stream of fresh content
- Work with the Head Of Digital Marketing to roll out key projects including Influencer Marketing and Competition strateg, ensuring these land successfully
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in marketing, communication, business or something of similar reference/HND equivalent would be preferred but is not essential dependent on experience
- An active understanding of hospitality marketing, up to dates with the latest trends and tools to ensure our social content is of the highest standard
- An in depth understanding of applied social media marketing, specifically Instagram and Tiktok, including best practice, scheduling tools, in-app functionality like swipe ups, polls, creation of reels
- A keen eye for aesthetic and able to capture and create photos and videos which are clear, well lit, and of good quality.
- Comfortable working on graphics including the ability to clearly communicate to designers what you are looking for, a knowledge of Canva or similar programme would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given
- Confident doing social media outreach including liking/commenting and interacting with customers, as well as outreach via DMs to influencers, collaborators and more.
