We’re looking for a creative, commercially minded designer to join our in‑house team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in launching a brand‑new concept in the retail convenience space, shaping everything from early‑stage brand development to in‑store signage and digital campaign assets. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy seeing your ideas move from concept to customer‑facing reality, we’d love to hear from you.

About The Role

As a Mid‑Weight Graphic Designer, you’ll work across a broad range of creative outputs, helping define and deliver a cohesive visual identity for a new retail proposition. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll manage projects from initial idea through to production and rollout.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting the ongoing development and refinement of brand identity and visual guidelines.
  • Creating impactful in‑store signage, POS materials, window graphics, and wayfinding.
  • Designing engaging digital assets for online, social, email, and paid media campaigns.
  • Preparing polished, high‑impact brand decks and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Developing marketing collateral including flyers, promotional materials, launch campaigns, and retail communications.
  • Managing artwork from concept through to final production, including amends, proofing, and print‑ready files.
  • Collaborating with suppliers including print, signage, and production partners to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Proactively suggesting creative solutions that help the concept stand out in a competitive retail market.

You Will Have:

  • A Degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years’ experience in a design role, ideally within retail, branding, FMCG, or a fast‑paced agency environment.
  • Experience working across both print and digital, with a strong understanding of production processes.
  • Proven experience delivering signage and large‑format artwork.
  • Strong layout, typography, and branding skills.
  • The ability to prepare professional presentation materials and brand documentation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and confidence managing files across PC‑based systems.
  • A passion for retail and emerging consumer trends would be highly advantageous.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • The opportunity to play a key role in launching a brand‑new retail concept from the ground up.
  • Exposure to high‑impact brand work across physical and digital environments.
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment.
