Overview
Band 6 Podiatrist (Bank/temporary) to join the team on a flexible basis across community podiatry services.
Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat and manage a diverse caseload, including community clinic and domiciliary patients.
- Provide high standards of clinical practice and patient care.
- Supervise and delegate work to junior clinicians and Podiatry Assistants; mentor students during clinical placements.
- Collaborate with Highly Specialist Clinicians and make appropriate referrals when specialist input is required.
- Travel between sites and work across different clinic locations and community settings as needed.
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Podiatrist.
- Excellent communication, clinical decision-making and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work across Harrow or Brent and to move between sessional clinics (on foot or by transport).
- Ability to supervise and delegate to junior staff and to mentor students during placements.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
