We are looking for an individual who is passionate about a career in law to join us as Campus Rep, taking on a leading role promoting our professional postgraduate courses at your university and driving attendance to open days and events.
To be eligible to apply you need to be a student studying a law degree at University of Liverpool.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your marketing, communication, and networking skills. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Raising awareness and ensuring a high attendance at The University of Law’s events, presentations and workshops taking place at your campus and at The University of Law.
- Answering questions about The University of Law.
- Networking with law and non-law student societies, faculties, and careers departments.
- Maintaining and managing an effective communications strategy, including through lecture shout-outs, emails and by taking ownership of your local Campus Rep Instagram account.
- Providing insight about the needs of students on your campus.
- Working closely with your Student Recruitment Officer to contribute to the termly activity planner and accurately reporting activity you have completed monthly.

For this role you will need to have excellent written and oral communication skills, proficient IT skills, and confidence in using social media and in addressing large groups.

The nature of this role is casual working with hours claimed for completed work, as agreed in a termly activity plan with your line manager. We will aim to offer approximately 166 hours over the course of the role. Due to business needs the exact number of hours offered may be higher or lower than this. As a typical example, we would offer 6 hours per week in September, October and November, December would be a holiday month with no hours offered, then 3 hours per week from January to the end of June. This is a representative example and hours may change.
This role is fixed term from September 2026 to June 2027. The application deadline for this position is 12th April (midnight), with interviews taking place w/c 20th and 27th April.

The pay for this post is £14.80 (London) £13.45 (Outside of London) per hour plus benefits including:
- A £500 discount off your fees if enrolled on any University of Law programme after your undergraduate studies (excluding preparation courses).
- Access to our careers service during your time as a Campus Rep.
- A guaranteed student ambassador role if you later become a University of Law student (subject to performance).
