We are looking for a Finance Quality Assurance Manager on a fixed term contract (1 year) to help us improve financial processes and upskill key members of staff on data quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to enter a well-established and respected department.
As Finance Quality Assurance Manager, you will be setting best practice and leading a temporary team of Finance Data Quality Officers to complete the historic Student account review. You will also be enhancing the accuracy of financial reporting to ensure transparency and reliability.
We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of financial regulation and accounting standards, with proven ability to analyse financial data. The ideal candidate will also have experience in a finance HE sector role. Please note: this position is a hybrid role, you will be working in Woking for two days per week.
As our Finance Quality Assurance Manager, you will:
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure that the Finance Department adheres to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal financial audits and reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Monitor financial data and perform regular checks to identify any irregularities or errors.
- Provide training and guidance to finance team members on quality assurance processes, financial regulations, and best practices.
We are looking for people who are/have:
