Dalton Pharmacy is a progressive independent community pharmacy in the heart of Dickens Heath, Solihull. We are seeking an ambitious, patient-focused Pharmacy Manager to lead our team and drive the continued growth of our expanding NHS and private healthcare services. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys clinical service delivery, team leadership and business development. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to shape services, improve patient outcomes and be rewarded for growth through a performance-related bonus scheme.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 1:00pm and 2:00pm – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
- Total: 44 hours per week

We are looking for a manager who is enthusiastic about expanding and developing these services further.
Strong Support Team
The Pharmacy Manager will be supported by an experienced team including:
- Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)
- Pharmacy Technician
- Healthcare Assistant
- Trainee Dispenser
This well-established team structure allows the pharmacist to focus on clinical care, service delivery, patient engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
- Deliver outstanding patient care and clinical services.
- Drive growth in NHS and private service delivery.
- Support, mentor and develop the pharmacy team.
- Ensure compliance with GPhC, NHS and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with patients, GP practices and local healthcare professionals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance pharmacy performance and service provision.
Candidate Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience working in community pharmacy.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for patient care and clinical service development.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to growing services.
