First Contact Physiotherapists (FCP)
We are looking for experienced, ambitious and independent minded Band 6 or early Band 7 Physiotherapists to join our team of First Contact Physiotherapists (FCPs) delivering Primary Care MSK services in the Derby area.
Working in a local GP setting, as an FCP you will be the first point of clinical contact for patients presenting with MSK conditions or symptoms.
You will be responsible for a diverse caseload, provide primary assessment, diagnosis and management options, and support patients to gain a better understanding of their problems and treatment pathway.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
  • Advanced clinical practice skills
  • The ability to self-manage
  • Good communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Good IT skills
  • HCPC and CSP registration
  • Post-graduate/Masters level qualifications – desirable but not essential
First Contact Physiotherapy is an important development in clinical care, and Central Health is leading its implementation throughout Derbyshire.
