First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP)
We are looking for experienced, ambitious and independent minded Band 6 or early Band 7 Physiotherapists to join our team of First Contact Physiotherapists (FCPs) delivering Primary Care MSK services in the Derby area.
As an FCP you will be the first point of clinical contact for patients presenting with MSK conditions or symptoms. You will manage a diverse caseload, provide primary assessment, diagnosis and management options and support patients to gain a better understanding of their problems and treatment pathway.
Responsibilities
- Primary assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions or symptoms
- Provide diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation options
- Support patients to understand their problems and treatment pathway
- Self‑manage and maintain a high standard of practice
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical practice skills
- Self‑management and good organisational skills
- Good communication, organisational and time management skills
- Good IT skills
- HCPC and CSP registration
- Post‑graduate/Master\’s level qualifications – desirable but not essential
