Mental Health Occupational Therapist
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Occupational Therapist.
This is a new role and will involve working alongside other healthcare professionals within a PCN setting.
GP-based, the successful candidate will be a first point of contact for patients requiring assessment, support and management of a wide range of mental and physical health issues.
The functional needs of patients will also need to be addressed and supported, and this may include providing a pathway to high levels of psychological care for issues such as elderly care, dementia and child mental health.
The successful candidate can now also expect to be dealing with post Covid-19 related issues, and this may see support required for patients to return to community activities and the workplace.
