We are seeking a friendly and reliable Medicines Counter Assistant to join our community pharmacy team.

The role includes:

  • Welcoming customers and identifying their needs
  • Advising on over-the-counter medicines within your competence
  • Referring customers to the pharmacist when appropriate
  • Supporting NHS and private pharmacy services
  • Processing prescriptions and handling payments
  • Receiving, checking and putting away stock
  • Maintaining a clean, professional and well-organised pharmacy
  • Following pharmacy procedures, confidentiality requirements and safeguarding policies
