RESPONSIBLE TO: Community Fitness Manager & Community Manager
The Governing Body and Headteacher seek to appoint reliable, committed and enthusiastic Sports Centre Assistants to join our team as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who is a genuine team player, with a positive attitude and an interest in sport, wellbeing and community engagement.
The successful candidate will support the smooth operation of our busy Sports Centre, working evenings and school holidays on a rota. The Sports Centre Assistant will provide a welcoming front-of-house service, help set up and supervise activities, maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment care, and ensure that all users enjoy a safe, inclusive and well-managed environment.
The role requires good communication skills, basic IT confidence, and the ability to follow Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures at all times. Experience in a customer-facing setting is essential, while experience in leisure, education or community sport is desirable but not required. Training, including first aid, will be provided.
