The Governing Body and Headteacher seek to appoint reliable, committed and enthusiastic Sports Centre Assistants to join our team as soon as possible.
We are looking for someone who is a genuine team player, with a positive attitude and an interest in sport, wellbeing and community engagement. The successful candidate will support the smooth operation of our busy Sports Centre, working evenings and school holidays on a rota.
The Sports Centre Assistant will provide a welcoming front-of-house service, help set up and supervise activities, maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment care, and ensure that all users enjoy a safe, inclusive and well-managed environment.
The role requires good communication skills, basic IT confidence, and the ability to follow Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Experience in a customer-facing setting is essential, while experience in leisure, education or community sport is desirable but not required. Training, including first aid, will be provided.
