Responsibilities

  • The successful teacher of PE will deliver GCSE‑level lessons, run a wide range of sporting activities during the week and on Saturday mornings, and extend the co‑curricular sports offering.
  • The role includes planning, teaching and assessing in PE, working collaboratively with other teachers and departments, and contributing to the development of sport facilities and programmes.

Qualifications

  • Qualified PE teacher or newly qualified teacher (Neo‑ECT) with the desire to grow within a department.
  • Ability to work across a broad range of sports and to support school sport teams from KS3 through KS5.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with a commitment to safeguarding children.
