The Role
We’re looking for a Student Recruitment & Admissions Officer to join our dynamic team. You’ll support the end-to-end admissions process – from handling applications to welcoming new students – and deliver a high-quality, friendly and responsive service to prospective applicants. This is a fast-paced, student-facing role that requires precision, organisation, and strong communication skills. You’ll ideally have experience in Higher Education or a similar setting, and confidence working with data, digital systems and CRM tools (we use HubSpot). You’ll also be a calm, proactive presence at open days, tours and enrolment events.
Key Responsibilities
- Process applications and issue offers in line with School policies and procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate communications to applicants.
- Maintain applicant records and track progress using HubSpot.
- Support key recruitment activities: Open Days, Offer Holder Days, Clearing and Induction.
- Understand and advise on entry criteria, course structures and admissions procedures.
- Prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and identify or escalate issues where needed.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture and provide cover across the department when required.
About You
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience.
- Confident with data entry, digital tools and spreadsheets (preferably Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience providing customer service in a busy or complex setting.
- A team player, with a calm and supportive approach.
