What will you be doing?
Joining us as a Software Engineer, you’ll be supporting the implementation of our technology roadmap. This will see you working cross-functionally across our technology team and the wider business.
You’ll help to ensure developments are at the required standards and fully tested before going into production environments.
As well as enabling the team to deliver robust and secure solutions, you’ll also be helping to make sure that we are running processes that are both industry and security best practice.
You’ll need to stay up to date with relevant changes in technology, enabling you to act as a subject matter expert in technical development best practice. You will engage in best practices for development, CI/CD governance, SQL and Azure DevOps.
Leading by example on best practice, you’ll support the full life-cycle of development projects and will help to make sure that these are delivered within agreed timeframes and to the highest standard.
You’ll help to ensure that projects are completed with minimal business disruption as well as offer support during challenging situations.
You’ll build strong relationships across the technology teams and throughout the wider business, promoting and building a culture of support.
How will I know if I am right for this role?
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Software Engineer who has proven experience of development skills such as:
- C#
- Odata
- VueJS
- SQL
- PHP
- restful API’s
- NET Framework
- WebHooks
As you will be required to clearly document and explain processes and solution designs, strong written skills are essential.
You’ll need to be able to demonstrate confidence in communicating technical concepts to business users in an appropriate and straightforward way.
You’ll bring planning skills and the ability to prioritise your work.
This role would suit an analytical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills.
