What will you be doing?
Caring for families is at the heart of what we do.
You will lead and manage the daily operations of allocated care centres, overseeing teams, monitoring budgets, and analyzing data from previous years to ensure continuous improvement and uphold high standards of care by motivated and engaged teams.
As Funeral Operations Lead, you will implement and execute the wider funeral business plan, focusing on delivering industry-leading funeral services and achieving profitable market share growth.
Client and colleague care will be at the core of your role.
This varied role includes responsibilities for standards, fire safety, security, health & safety, and ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained, with colleagues trained in their proper use.
We aim to meet client expectations through the preparation and care of the deceased, facilitating chapel visits, and ensuring all related paperwork is completed accurately.
You will assist in managing stock levels, ordering coffins and sundry items, and supporting the Funeral Cluster Manager to maintain care standards and conduct funerals if required.
Please note, from 1st December 2023, new joiners will be subject to a standard DBS check, and all offers are conditional on receiving a satisfactory disclosure.
