What will you be doing?
Caring for families is at the heart of what we do.
In this role, you’ll lead and manage the daily requirements of allocated care centres.
You’ll help lead teams, monitor budgets, and analyze data from previous years to ensure continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of care through motivated and engaged teams.
As Funeral Operations Lead, you\’ll implement and deliver the wider funeral business plan, focusing on providing industry-leading funeral services and achieving profitable market share growth.
Client and colleague care will be central to your role.
This varied role includes responsibilities for standards, fire, security, health & safety, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and colleague training in proper procedures.
We aim to meet client expectations, including the preparation and care of the deceased, facilitating chapel visits, and ensuring all related paperwork is completed accurately.
You’ll assist in managing stock levels and ordering coffins and sundry items, support the Funeral Cluster Manager with requests to uphold care standards, and conduct funerals if needed.
Please note, from 1st December 2023, new joiners will be subject to a standard DBS check. All offers are conditional on receiving a satisfactory disclosure.
