What will you be doing? You’ll be working as a dedicated member of our masonry team, helping to create lasting memories for our families. As a Fixer Mason, you’ll manage and carry out all daily masonry activities, including preparation, completion, and fixing of memorials to the highest standards. This role involves fixing memorials, engraving grave inscriptions, learning stone cutting, and other duties as required.
How will I know if I am right for this role? Having a NAMM or BRAMM licence would be an advantage, but it is not essential; full training and support will be provided. You will need to hold a full driving licence, as driving one of our company vehicles is required. A confident communicator with attention to detail will succeed in this role. As a representative of our funeral services, you should be comfortable building relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, clergy, celebrants, and doctors. This role involves heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
