Overview
Finance Manager β Retail, you will partner with our Retail Team by providing clear financial reports and practical insights to help guide informed decisions. You will provide timely analysis and assistance to our Senior Finance Manager and be responsible for a broad range of activities.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position.
Responsibilities
- Reporting and analysis on key performance drivers
- Forecasting β highlighting risks and opportunities
- Supporting delivery of period end
- Supporting the FP&A team in delivering budget and forecasts
- Produce business cases & post investment reviews (including new stores, regenerations and commercial initiatives)
- Reporting for CAPCOM
- Reviewing business performance with operational management and presenting in meetings (up to 20 people)
- Collaborating with our Retail team to optimise key commercial levers
- Building large data reporting capabilities to animate business and area performance
- Adhoc strategic business requirements
What we are looking for
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to develop an excellent understanding of key performance drivers
- Confident communicator able to work collaboratively within Finance and across the wider business
- An analytical thinker who can show initiative in resolving challenges
- Highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering to tight deadlines
