This role is ideal for someone who is commercially aware with strong management accounts and line management experience and thrives within a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing clear, accurate monthly management accounts
- Supervising a team of trainee management accountants
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders through regular communication.
- Support business planning through robust financial analysis and modelling
- Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
- Driving an efficient and accurate month-end close.
- Completing all balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting the Finance Director with Audit and Audit Queries
- Handling VAT returns and providing meaningful cost and variance analysis.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience producing management accounts and managing people.
- The ability to collaborate confidently with non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong Excel skills and up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Construction industry experience (desirable)
